Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Six pieces of information tell carriers what they need: your gender, birth date, how your health is overall, whether you use tobacco, the coverage amount you want, and how long you want it to last. Nothing beyond those six details is required to see rates. Your name, location details, and full health information come into play only if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are what carriers will quote for your chosen health tier. Underwriting by the carrier might lead to the final price being confirmed, raised, or lowered depending on what they verify. This site makes no guarantees of a specific cost or coverage tier—what you see is an estimate only.

What happens when I click Apply?

You provide your name, then create an application based on the exact quote you selected. From there, you move to the carriers' protected application system, where you can log out and return to finish whenever you're ready, and sign your name electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, licensed in California (License 0B75129), manages the application process.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies based on the insurance company, the amount of coverage, and how you answered the health questions. Many carriers can make fast decisions for qualified applicants without requiring a physical check; each quote on this site notes whether one is mandatory, might be requested, or won't be needed.

Is a longer term better?

The goal should match when the financial burden ends. A mortgage to pay off, kids who need support while growing up, a business debt—these are times when your family would suffer financially from your death. Longer terms keep the same rate locked in for more years but cost more monthly. This tool lets you compare what 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options cost side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quoting tool doesn't ask for contact info, we don't share or sell what visitors tell us, and our tracking doesn't use cookies. Read the privacy section to see the full picture of what gets collected and by whom.
